#12 - Nicki Rain and the Podgogs

Smurfer admits he saw Star Wars: The Phantom Menace in 3D, Robert Kirkman and Tony Moore duke it out while Marvel hounds Ghost Rider creator Gary Friedrich, the current (crappy) state of the (SoCal) radio industry, no more fun for Power Girl, Captain Man’s Winter Book Club with The Hunger Games, and more! Also, everyone agrees Dave Grohl is a great person.

The Ghost Rider scandal involving creator Gary Friedrich and Marvel’s legal department will be one of the main topics of discussion during today’s recording. If you haven’t read up on the details, however, I (Doom) implore that you do.

Marvel has demanded that [Friedrich] pay them $15,000. This is the money Gary has raised over several years, selling Ghost Rider prints at shows such as San Diego Comic Con.
The implications of this are not just for Gary, though they are pretty horrific.
